URGENT NEED

"Allison" told us that she was determined to get an abortion last week when she was referred to us for spiritual guidance and help. It seems she has been on a search for God. Praise the Lord! 

 

As a single mother of two already facing insurmountable obstacles, she has found herself facing an unplanned pregnancy and knew she could not afford another child, even though she never thought she would consider abortion. 

 

Serious problems began for her in February when she got laid off from her salaried job, and then in July her small business contract ended due to the economy. She has been actively and desperately looking for work since then and living off savings. 

 

In June she began dating a man she believed would be a supportive partner. However, the unplanned pregnancy quickly revealed issues. 

 

With mounting debts, no incoming funds for housing and now months behind, no money for food or life essentials, utilities shut off today and serious health concerns from the pregnancy (High blood pressure requiring medication), she thought abortion was necessary to ease her desperate situation. We believe otherwise and have promised our help to walk with her through this.  We are actively counseling her and sharing truth and she is receptive to the message of the gospel.
