Meet baby Noah and learn about his mother's journey!
Celebrate this precious baby born on Sept. 22nd! His name is Noah, and his mother is a local LoveHopes mom.
Read this mother's journey.
When “Brittany” discovered she was facing an unplanned pregnancy, she had been encouraged to have an abortion but didn't want to even consider it for her child. She knew it would be hard, but she is not a stranger to hard things; having been raised by addicts, ultimately raising her younger siblings for several years and putting herself through college in Sacramento to try to better her life.
When we met “Brittany,” she was 7 months pregnant, working 2 jobs in Modesto, taking the bus several hours a day to get back and forth from Ceres just to try to keep up. Her boyfriend had just been laid off from work and they were behind on their rent. We met, our team shared the gospel, prayed and asked God to help. With the help of this ministry and the support of a partnering local church, we were able to get them caught up so they could give notice without an eviction and try to downsize! They moved into a motel for several months trying to find a studio but kept getting denied (it is a very tough rental market right now for our moms).
Just days before her due date, they found a private owner to rent them a small place in Atwater! They scrambled to put funds together, having spent everything to stay in the motel and exhausted their resources.
“Brittany” is unable to work at this point because of her c-section and the baby and they just need a little help to stabilize with Noah. The baby's father is working now and taking the bus each day to provide for their little family. “Britany” says he has really stepped up and she is proud of him.
She had applied for EBT and awaits that, but things are very tight, and they just don't quite have enough. We would like to help this hardworking family, who chose life to stabilize. She is very appreciative and said anything helps! She is also very open to the things of the Lord.
